Prof. Anil Agarwal Oration
The highest academic honour conferred by the Society
Instituted to honour outstanding and sustained contribution to the science, practice, teaching or organisation of Pain Medicine in India. The Oration is delivered as a plenary lecture at ISPCCON 2026, with no parallel scientific activity.
Eligibility
- Life Member of ISPC / ISA / ISSP in good standing for at least 10 years.
- Demonstrable contribution in clinical service, research, education or organisational service.
- Past Orators and sitting Selection Committee members are not eligible.

- 30 minute plenary Oration at ISPCCON 2026
- Complimentary conference registration
How to Nominate
A nomination may be proposed by any two Life Members, or made by self-nomination. Complete the form below — it is the prescribed Nomination Form, and submitting it delivers the nomination directly to the Honorary Secretary, ISPC.
Every nomination must enclose:
- Curriculum vitae (PDF)
- Publication list with ten best papers (PDF)
- Summary of contributions (max 1,000 words)
- Abstract of the proposed Oration (max 300 words)
- Photograph and citation (max 200 words)
